Bishwo Airways (Kathmandu) is a Nepalese start-up looking to commence scheduled, full-service international flights to India, China, Japan, Malaysia, Saudi Arabia and the United Kingdom later this month using an A330-200 acquired outright during last year's Farnborough International Airshow. A second aircraft is due for delivery in April this year.

Initial operations will include a daily service to Dammam and a 5x weekly Kuala Lumpur International service. Thereafter, in its second year of operations, the airline will offer 3x weekly services to Beijing Capital and Tokyo Narita either direct or via Seoul Incheon.

Backed by Bishwo Holdings, a diversified Nepalese investment holding company based in Singapore, the carrier is currently undergoing certification with the Nepalese Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA).
