Royal Air Maroc (AT, Casablanca Mohamed V) is set to order the B737 MAX 8 as part of its narrow-body fleet renewal plans. According to an AirFinance Journal report, the Moroccan national carrier is to add seven B737 MAX 8s and B787-8s to its fleet direct from Boeing (BOE, Washington National) between now and 2020.

RAM has indicated in the past that it has been considering offerings from both Airbus (AIB, Toulouse Blagnac) and Boeing insofar as its B737 fleet renewal plans are concerned.

With the exception of four E190s, Royal Air Maroc is an exclusive operator of Boeing aircraft employing one B737-300(F), six B737-700s, thirty-one B737-800s, one B747-400, four B767-300(ER)s, and two B787-8s (with three more on order).
