Azur Air Ukraine (Kyiv Boryspil) completed its legal transformation from UTair-Ukraine (Kyiv Boryspil) on November 30 with the airline now officially owned by Turkish tour operator Anex Tourism Group (ATG).

Thus far, one of three B737-800s - UR-UTP (msn 28226) - has already been repainted into Azur Air Ukraine's livery and deployed back into service on flights between Ukraine and Sharm el Sheikh in Egypt.

ATG, which acquired the carrier from UTair Group earlier this year for an undisclosed amount, plans to reposition Azur Air Ukraine and sister carrier Russia's Azur Air (ZF, Krasnoyarsk Yemelyanovo) to feed its tourist hubs in Turkey, Egypt, Spain, Bulgaria, Greece, and Italy.
