Quikjet Airlines (QO, Bangalore Int'l) has signed a joint-venture agreement with Indian logistics firm Sovika wherein the carrier's B737-400(F) will be used on flights between Delhi Int'l (where it will be based), Chennai, Hyderabad Int'l, and Bangalore Int'l. In the second phase, it will connect Mumbai Int'l and Kolkata Int'l as the airline seeks to cover all major metro hubs.

The service will operate at night and will target the eCommerce, express cargo, and motor industry sectors which demand next-day delivery.

As previously reported, Quikjet only recently secured its Scheduled Air Operators Permit from the Indian Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA).
