Caverton Aviation Cameroon (Douala) has taken delivery of its first DHC-6-400 from Viking Air (VKN, Victoria International), with aircraft registered TJ-TIM (msn 934) arriving at Douala on October 8.
The new generation turboprop replaces DHC-6-300 TJ-TMM (msn 816) which has been put up for sale, according to Twin Otter World.
Caverton Aviation Cameroon is a subsidiary of Caverton Offshore Support Group based in Lagos, Nigeria, which also controls Caverton Helicopters (CJR, Lagos). The Nigerian sister carrier also operates a single DHC-6-400 complementing various helicopters providing support for the country's oil and gas industry.
