Drukair (KB, Paro) has issued a Request For Proposals (RFP) for the [operating] lease of a single ATR42-600 beginning May 1, 2018.

Tender documents seen by ch-aviation indicate the Bhutanese carrier is asking for quotes on leasing terms spanning two, three, four, and five years.

Eligible aircraft must be no older than four years of age on delivery.

The deadline for submissions is February 20, 2018.

Based out of the remote Himalayan kingdom, Druk Air operates a single, 18-year-old ATR42-500 on flights connecting Paro with Gelephu, Trashigang, and Jakar locally and Dhaka, Kathmandu, and Kolkata internationally.
