South African Airways (SA, Johannesburg O.R. Tambo) has resumed dedicated freighter operations with two of its three B737-300(F)s now back in commercial service.

The carrier had chosen to ground the aircraft earlier this month pending the upgrade of their respective Traffic Collision Avoidance Systems (TCAS). The measure was taken by the airline, in concert with the South African Civil Aviation Authority (SACAA), in order to ensure full regulatory compliance.

As it stands, Flightradar24 ADS-B data indicates ZS-TGG (msn 24278) returned to regular rotation on around February 24 while ZS-SBA (msn 26070) has been active as of February 23. ZS-SBB (msn 26072) currently remains inactive.
