Nordavia (Arkhangelsk Talagi) is set to take delivery of its maiden B737NextGen with msn 30038 in the process of making its way to Russia. The 13-year-old twinjet is one of two ex-Aeroméxico (AM, México City International) machines being sourced by the carrier with the second, msn 28262, due to arrive later in the year.

The chief executive of Nordavia, Anatoly Semenyuk, told Tass earlier this year that, in addition to these two leased aircraft, the carrier was also looking at adding a further two to three of the type this year.

At present, Nordavia operates nine B737-500s on scheduled passenger flights to 21 destinations across Russia as well as Belarus and Georgia.
