Montenegro Airlines (Podgorica) has announced it has wet-leased a B737-500 from Maltese ACMI/charter specialist AirX Charter (AX, Malta International).
Flightradar24 ADS-B data shows 9H-OME (msn 24274) was positioned to Podgorica on April 14 and has since been deployed into service for the Montenegrin carrier on flights to Zurich, Paris CDG, and Belgrade. An airline statement indicates the contract is due to run for the duration of the summer season.
Montenegro Airlines operates an in-house fleet of three E195s and two Fokker 100s used to serve 17 destinations in 11 countries that include Montenegro, Switzerland, Serbia, Russia, Austria, Germany, Italy, France, Slovenia, Denmark, and the United Kingdom.
