Turkish Airlines (TK, Istanbul Airport) has incorporated a new wholly-owned investment subsidiary THY Uluslararasi Yatırım ve Taşımacılık A.Ş. (THY International Investment and Transportation Inc.), the carrier said in a stock market filing.
"[The unit was established] in order to invest abroad and domestically, principally in the fields of cargo and courier transportation," the carrier said.
The new subsidiary has a share capital of TRY10 million liras (USD1.7 million).
