GOL Linhas Aéreas Inteligentes (G3, São Paulo Congonhas) has announced it will launch non-stop flights between Brazil and the United States early next month.

In a statement, the Brazilian LCC said effective November 4, it would offer 4x daily return services from each of Brasília Juscelino Kubitschek International and Fortaleza International to each of Miami International and Orlando International using B737-8 equipment. Previous services to the US, operated by B737-800s, have had to stop-over in Punta Cana in the Dominican Republic.

Gol has orders with Boeing (BOE, Washington National) for 105 B737 MAX 8s and thirty MAX 10s all of which are expected to be delivered by 2028. Collectively, they will replace its current fleet of ninety-four B737-800s and twenty-four B737-700s.

An existing partnership with equity partner Delta Air Lines (DL, Atlanta Hartsfield Jackson) will also allow Gol to offer its passengers onward connectivity from each of the Floridian gateways to eight cities across the US namely Atlanta Hartsfield Jackson, Salt Lake City, New York La Guardia, Cincinnati International, Detroit Metropolitan, Los Angeles International, Minneapolis St. Paul International, and Indianapolis International.

Gol's Chief Financial Officer (CFO) Richard Lark recently told CNBC that it is planning to pursue a joint venture with Delta which would expand beyond their current codesharing agreement to include revenue sharing as well as schedule coordination.

A Delta spokeswoman said the company had no news about any potential venture with Gol.
