Adria Airways (Ljubljana) has won a tender organised by the Slovenian Ministry of Public Procurement for subsidised flights between Ljubljana and Brussels National. The carrier is set to receive EUR4.47 million euro (USD5.07 million) for the operations.

According to the tender documentation in the official EU register, the tender was organised on behalf of a dozen of public institutions, whose employees travel for business to Brussels regularly.

According to the ch-aviation capacity module, Adria currently operates 12x weekly between Slovenia and Brussels using CRJ900 equipment. It is the only carrier serving this country pair.
