JetNetherlands (JNL, Amsterdam Schiphol) launched charter operations on behalf of CU Air on November 7, 2020, following the delivery of its first Saab 340B, PH-CUA (msn 340B-167).
The 31.3-year-old Saab turboprop, previously operated by Loganair (LM, Glasgow Int'l), was delivered to Antwerp on November 4. Its first flight was a multileg trip to Épinal, Caen, and Nancy/Essey on November 7-8, 2020.
The aircraft is owned by CU Air's parent Cargo Union and will be based out of Antwerp. It is configured for up to 34 passengers. It will be operated by JetNetherlands on behalf of CU Air separately from two Embraer jets, a EMB-135LR and an EMB-145LI, which are operated under the ACE - Air Charters Europe (Antwerp) brand.
JetNetherlands is owned by ASL airtaxi (BNJ, Liège), itself a unit of ASL Group.
Independently of CU Air, Cargo Union is also planning to launch cargo charters in the future.

Due for completion in May/June 2020, Belgian private jet company ASL Group has broken ground on the construction of a 2,400 square-metre hangar at Antwerp airport. Its second facility at the Belgian airfield will allow the company to not just accommodate its fleet growth, but will also offer hangar space for FBO and business aviation customers.
The new hangar will be located right close to ASL's current hangar and will feature a 40 x 8.2metre door, with free spans of 40metre in both directions.
Philippe Bodson, Chief Executive Officer of ASL Group said in a statement: "We are very proud to start the construction of our second hangar here at the international airport of Antwerp!
