SKY Airline (Chile) (H2, Santiago de Chile) signed a dry-lease contract for three A321-200neo from Air Lease Corporation with deliveries scheduled in 2020 and 2021.
The lease placement was announced during the ongoing 2019 Paris Air Show at Paris Le Bourget and covers aircraft sourced from ALC's Airbus order book. The lessor has outstanding orders for fifty A321neo and sixty-six A321neo(LR)s on top of twenty-one A321neo it already owns.
According to the ch-aviation fleets module, SKY Airline currently operates eleven A319-100s, one A320-200, and eight A320-200neo. The Chilean LCC dry-leases all its aircraft from various lessors, including two neo units from ALC. It also has a nascent subsidiary in SKY Airline Perú (H8, Lima International) that currently leases capacity from its Chilean parent.
