Adria Airways (Ljubljana) is in talks with an unnamed United States-based investor, the Slovenian flag carrier told EX-YU Aviation.
The carrier's current owner, German investment fund 4K Invest, would continue to be a shareholder even if a new investor comes on board. Results of the talks with the American investor are expected within a month.
Adria Airways said recently that it continues its search for a strategic investor. CEO Holger Kowarsch underlined during a press conference that external capital injection was necessary for the carrier in the mid-term.
