JetBlue Airways (B6, New York JFK) has tentatively scheduled its first A321-200neo flights for September 24, 2019, Paxex.aero has reported based on seat configuration analysis.

The airline currently plans to debut the type on the New York JFK-Fort Lauderdale International route, although it would not confirm that the schedule is final. jetBlue has yet to officially file its A321neo schedules.

jetBlue plans to formally induct its first A321neo, N2002J (msn 8823), in September. The aircraft was ferried from Hamburg Finkenwerder to New York JFK and then to Lake City, FL on June 29, 2019. On August 21, the aircraft was ferried back to JFK, Flightradar24 ADS-B data shows.

The airline has seventy-two A321neo and thirteen A321neo(XLR) on order from Airbus. Its current narrowbody fleet includes 130 A320-200s and sixty-three A321-200s, the ch-aviation fleets module shows. jetBlue also operates sixty E190ARs and has seventy A220-300s on order.

jetBlue previously announced that Guayaquil in Ecuador will be the first new route launched using the A321neo. Services to the airport are due to commence on December 5, 2019.
