Saudia (SV, Jeddah International) has taken delivery of its first B787-10 following a handing over ceremony at Charleston International on Sunday, September 29. HZ-AR24 (msn 40050) was subsequently ferried to Jeddah International.

According to an airline statement, the jets will feature 357 seats in a two-class configuration, with 24 seats in Business Class and 333 seats in Economy Class.

Saudia has ten B787-10s on order from Boeing (BOE, Washington National) of which three are due this year with the remaining seven due in 2020. It is an existing Dreamliner operator with thirteen B787-9s currently in service.

The aircraft is scheduled to make its debut on the Jeddah-Kuala Lumpur International route this month with Paris CDG to be added as a second destination from March 1, 2020.
