Air KBZ (K7, Yangon) is to launch the first international service to the Indian city of Imphal, capital city of the state of Manipur, with a 2x weekly service from Mandalay Int'l.
When speaking to The Assam Tribune, Manipur Chief Minister N Biren Singh has said that the Imphal-Mandalay flight will commence from November 23, however, when consulting the airline's website, the flights are currently not on sale yet.
Transport Director Mercina R Panmei said at the launch of the service: “The commencement of Imphal-Mandalay flight service will take us closer to our goal of making Manipur a major hub for travelling to South-East Asian countries."
“Manipur is central to the future of India’s Act East Policy and the proposed flight service could become one of the major drivers for mainstreaming northeastern India in the Act East Policy of the country with Manipur as the gateway to South-East Asian region,” he said.
According to the ch-aviation schedules module, Imphal currently boasts connections to 13 domestic non-stop and multi-stop destinations only....

Air China (CA, Beijing Capital) will dry-lease ten A320-200neo from BOC Aviation, the lessor announced in a press release.
The aircraft will be powered by Pratt & Whitney PurePower PW1100G-JM engines and are scheduled for delivery in 2019 and 2020.
According to the ch-aviation fleets advanced module, Air China currently operates fourteen A320neo alongside thirty-three A319-100s, forty-four A320-200s, sixty-one A321-200s, five A321-200neo, seventeen B737-700s, 104 B737-800s, and sixteen grounded B737-8s. Air China's subsidiaries Air China Inner Mongolia, Beijing Airlines, and Dalian Airlines operate one B737-700 and twenty-one -800s on behalf of their parent in total.
BOC Aviation already owns thirty-five A320neo, which are dry-leased to Air Macau (three), Azul Linhas Aéreas Brasileiras (two), China Southern Airlines (three), Chongqing Airlines (seven), Qingdao Airlines (one), S7 Airlines (two), SalamAir (one), Spring Airlines (one), TAP Air Portugal (four), Uzbekistan Airways (two), and Vistara (nine).
