JSX Air (XE, Dallas Love Field) has announced it will launch its first scheduled charter route to the US East Coast on June 25, when it debuts services from Dallas Love Field via Southern Pines (Pinehurst) to White Plains, NY.

The airline did not previously serve Dallas, despite having its headquarters in the city. Besides services to the eastern part of the country, it also started to operate scheduled charters from Dallas to Las Vegas Harry Reid on June 19.

"These are pop-up routes. For a lot of people, it will be the first time they’ve really left the house in months," Chief Executive Alex Wilcox said.

The routes will operate in commercial partnership with Wynn Las Vegas Hotel and Pinehurst Resort. Wilcox said that there it would be "nice" for the airline to start operating scheduled flights on a regular basis out of Dallas. Early plans were made to launch them in summer 2020 but they were called off due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Wilcox did not say whether and when the carrier could launch such flights.

JSX Air currently focuses on serving California, Las Vegas, and Phoenix Sky Harbor. Besides the new "pop-up" services from Dallas, it also plans to launch new scheduled seasonal routes from Burbank and Santa Ana, CA to Monterey in California. The airline operates two EMB-135ERs, fourteen EMB-135LRs, and seven EMB-145LRs, the ch-aviation fleets module shows.

JSX Air continues operations despite its parent, Superior Air Charter (SAC) LLC, having filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection in late April this year.
