Royal Air Maroc (AT, Casablanca Mohammed V) has made statements that it would be looking for a strategic airline partner also willing to make a financial investment in the state-owned carrier. While RAM has been expanding rapidly over the last couple of years, it has recently been hit a decline in demand for leisure travel to Morocco and increasing competition from low-cost carriers.
