SilkAir (Singapore Changi) has asked Bombardier Aerospace (BBA, Montréal Trudeau) and Embraer (EMB, São José dos Campos U.E. Stumpf International) to provide proposals for the C Series and EMB-190/195 families of aircraft according to reports by the Business Times. It currently operates six A319-100s and 15 A320-200s but apparently sees a market for regional routes from Singapore Changi it cannot profitably serve with its Airbus narrowbodies.
