Cal Jet Air (Minneapolis St. Paul International) has announced plans to offer scheduled public charter flights between the United States and Mazatlán from December using B737-400s chartered from XTRA Airways (Fort Lauderdale International). It plans to initially operate from Los Angeles International, San Francisco, San Antonio International and Seattle Tacoma International offering a total of 12 weekly services. It only faces competition on the route from Los Angeles currently also served by Alaska Airlines (AS, Seattle Tacoma International).
