Armavia (Yerevan) has confirmed that its owner, businessman Mikhail Baghdasarov, has put the financially struggling airline up for sale and is currently looking for potential investors. In other news, it has finally been able to settle its dispute with Sukhoi Civil Aircraft (Zhukovsky) over the technical and financial issues related to its only SSJ 100/95 EK-95015 (MSN 95007) that has now been ferried back to Yerevan under a new lease agreement on October 2. It is expected that Armavia will also take delivery of the second SSJ 100-95 EK-95016 (MSN 95021) currently stored at Zhukovsky now that the two parties have managed to come to terms again.
