Polar Aviation (Australia) (Melbourne Airport) has added a first executive jet, a Global Express XRS, ch-aviation research shows.

The 14.8-year-old Bombardier Business Aircraft, VH-T29 (msn 9409), is configured for up to 13 passengers. It was delivered to Melbourne Airport, where it is now based, from Wichita Eisenhower via Honolulu on February 13 and 14, 2025. Previously operated by EC Aviation, which does not hold a CASA Part 119 commercial air transport certificate, the aircraft was registered to Polar Aviation on April 3.

Registered as N2379T, the aircraft was privately operated in the United States before its export to Australia and was last active under its US registration in November 2024.

Currently, this Global Express XRS is the only aircraft available for charter on Polar Aviation's website. Founded in 1981, the company also provides aircraft management, maintenance, and flight training services.
