Avcon Jet Malta (VCJ, Malta International) has resumed operations with Embraer Executive Jets after a decade-long hiatus following the induction of a first Praetor 600, ch-aviation research shows.

The 5.1-year-old aircraft, 9H-NYX (msn 55020115), is configured for up to 13 passengers. It became active on April 11, operating under the company's 'VCJ' code with a flight from Mönchengladbach to Sofia, followed by a leg to Dubai World Central later the same day. Previously registered as OE-HXX, it was the only Praetor 600 operated by Austria's Avcon Jet.

Avcon Jet Malta last operated an Embraer aircraft between 2013 and 2015 - a Legacy 600. The newly added Praetor 600 joins 12 other aircraft in the company's fleet, including a Global 5000, three Global 6000s, two Citation XLS jets, a Citation Sovereign+, a Falcon 2000LXS, a GVII-G500, two G650s (one parked at Hannover since February 2024), and a G650ER.
