Jordan has returned the sole governmental G700 it operated to Gulfstream Aerospace, ch-aviation research reveals. The ultra-long-range jet had been operated by Royal Jordanian (RJ, Amman Queen Alia) since delivery in September 2024.
Reregistered in the United States as N721GA as of May 19, the aircraft was previously on the Bermudian register as VP-BXS and remained active on various state visits until February 2025. On March 5, it flew between Amman Queen Alia and Farnborough before ferrying to Savannah International on March 22. The one-year-old aircraft resumed operations in April with a test flight, returning to Amman Queen Alia on April 15. It was last active on May 13 as VP-BXS on a flight back to Savannah.
The Jordanian government now exclusively deploys a 10.5-year-old G650ER, registered in Bermuda as VQ-BNZ (msn 6158), for official state travel. As with the phased-out G700, the aircraft is operated by Royal Jordanian.
