Vueling Airlines (VY, Barcelona El Prat) has announced a new hospitality joint venture with Hoteles Catalonia and plans to open its first hotel branded as Vueling by HC in Barcelona in early 2013. If successful it then plans to open additional hotels in some of the cities the low-cost carrier serves in Spain and the rest of Europe.
