Kingfisher Airlines (Mumbai International) has submitted an official revival plan to the Director General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) on Monday, December 24 one week ahead of the deadline set by the DGCA for December 31. According to airline statements, it plans to resume operations in several phases with own funding and its recapitalisation plan would shortly be discussed with its lenders. Kingfisher's revival plan would have to be approved by the DGCA first in order to allow the carrier to resume scheduled services given its license is still suspended.
