Air Tanzania (TC, Dar es Salaam) is reportedly in talks with a group of investors from Oman willing to invest up to $100 million USD in the state owned carrier. Air Tanzania currently operates domestic services in Tanzania using a single DHC-8-300 and a B737-200 wet-leased from Star Air (South Africa) (BRH, Johannesburg O.R. Tambo). As part of the plan that has yet to be finalized, Air Tanzania's fleet would be modernized and new offices and a training centre set-up.
