Indonesia Air Transport - IAT (IDA, Jakarta Halim) has commenced Hawker Beechcraft operations following the addition of a Hawker 900XP. The aircraft is operated under Indonesia Air Transport's air operator's certificate (AOC) on behalf of Singapore-based Jet Asia Management, director James Russell confirmed to ch-aviation.

The 2011-built jet, PK-JAM (msn HA-0197), became active on January 12, flying between Singapore Seletar and Jakarta Halim, where it is based. Since January 28, the eight-passenger jet has operated across Southeast Asia.

Formerly registered in San Marino, the aircraft was privately managed by Jet Asia Management and remained active as T7-PTL until December 5, flying between Jakarta Soekarno-Hatta, where it was stationed, and Singapore Seletar. “The reason for the registration change was to utilise the aircraft within the Indonesian domestic charter market and the wider Southeast Asia region,” Russell explained.

This Hawker 900XP joins two Legacy 600s and two Eurocopter EC155 helicopters in Indonesia Air Transport's fleet. The carrier also operated an ATR42-500 on behalf of the Ministry of Marine Affairs and Fisheries (Kementerian Kelautan dan Perikanan - KKP), which crashed on January 17.

Meanwhile, Jet Asia Management further manages three San Marino-registered aircraft, comprising two G450s and another Hawker 900XP, which resumed operations on January 26 after roughly a year of inactivity. “We are working on several fleet additions in 2026, predominantly private aircraft under management, which for the time being remain confidential,” Russell added.
