Dragonair (Hong Kong International) is considering rebranding as “Cathay Dragon” according to a news report by the South China Morning Post earlier this month. The regional subsidiary of Cathay Pacific (CX, Hong Kong International) currently operates 15 A320-200s, six A321-200s and 18 A330-300s under its own brand. According to the report, pictures of the proposed new “Cathay Dragon” branding and livery have emerged. Dragonair has so far denied such rumors saying the pictures were not from the airline.
