LAN Airlines (Santiago de Chile) and TAM Linhas Aéreas (São Paulo Congonhas) have gotten back their operational licenses from the Authority for the Regulation and Control of Bolivian Telecommunications and Transport (ATT). Owing to bureaucratic bungling, both carriers had their permits suspended on February 15 leaving them with only provisional permits. While they could operate flights into the country, they were not able to freely sell seats. LAN connects La Paz El Alto and Santa Cruz Viru Viru to Iquique, Lima International and Santiago de Chile while TAM links Asunción with Santa Cruz.
