Gulf Air (GF, Bahrain International) has been revealed as the mystery buyer for ten Bombardier Aerospace (BBA, Montréal Trudeau) A220-100s with options for an additional six. The firm order was originally announced at the Paris Air Show in June 2011. As of March 31, 2013, the Canadian aircraft manufacturer had booked orders and commitments for 388 CSeries aircraft, including 145 firm orders. The first CS100 unit, C-FBCS (c/n 50001), has already been handed over to its flight test team with a tentative first-flight set for late June.
