KLM Royal Dutch Airlines (KL, Amsterdam Schiphol) have placed an order with Boeing (BOE, Washington National) for four more B737-800s, bringing its overall fleet of 737s up to eighteen B737-700s, thirty B737-800s and five B737-900s. The Dutch carrier uses its -800 series to operate flights throughout Western and Eastern Europe as well as to Scandinavia and the Mediterranean.
