Singapore Airlines (SQ, Singapore Changi) has increased its orders with Airbus (AIB, Toulouse Blagnac) for the A350XWB with an additional thirty A350-900s, plus options for a further twenty aircraft. The agreement, the carrier's third for the A350, firms up a commitment announced last month. Under the terms of the agreement, Singapore Airlines will be able to select either the baseline A350-900 or the larger A350-1000 when exercising its options. Following delivery, Singapore Airlines intends to operate the A350 on long haul and regional routes.
