Yangtze River Express (Shanghai Hongqiao) has announced plans to convert three B737-400s into B737-400(F)s. The first of the group has been sourced from China Xinhua Airlines (Beijing Capital), who is retiring the type from its fleet in favour of operating B737-800s. The aircraft, B-2993 (msn 28759), is due to undergo conversion in July at the Boeing Shanghai Aviation Services facility in Shanghai, China.
