LAN Argentina (Buenos Aires Jorge Newbery) says it has not received any official order to vacate a hangar at Buenos Aires Jorge Newbery claiming it has a contract signed with Aeropuertos Argentina in 2000 until 2023 to manage the MRO facility. LAN Argentina says it has 12 A320-200 based at the airport. The denial came after numerous Argentine media outlets last week stated the carrier, which has been involved in various skirmishes of late with another state-run enterprise, Intercargo, had, along with several other carriers, been evicted by the Argentine airports authority (Organismo Regulador del Sistema Nacional de Aeropuertos - ORSNA).
