Thomas Cook Airlines UK (Manchester) is planning to restructure its operations along the lines of Condor (DE, Frankfurt International) with Manchester and Frankfurt International set to become long-haul hubs with passengers feeding in off connecting flights. While the UK carrier will maintain direct flights from multiple UK airports to the Mediterranean and Canary Islands as well as long-haul services from London Gatwick, Manchester and Glasgow to Orlando International and Cancún, Manchester will, however, be at the core of the airline's long-haul operations, with schedules coordinated with Condor’s main hub at Frankfurt. Which destinations will be operated out of where is still undecided. Long-haul departures from Manchester will be fed by early morning flybe. (2002) (Exeter) flights from the regions. At the same time, Thomas Cook will offer an increasing number of options with Condor via Frankfurt using Lufthansa (LH, Frankfurt International) connecting flights from the UK. The Frankfurt long-haul operation is three times the size of Manchester in summer and six times the size in winter.
