Vietnam Airlines (VN, Hanoi Noi Bai International) will from September 20 resume operations at Hue Phu Bai International in Central Vietnam following six months of runway repairs and renovations. The Saigon Times states the reopening is a full 2 months ahead of schedule. Vietnam Airlines will initially offer twice daily flights to Hanoi Noi Bai International and 3x daily flights to Ho Chi Minh City before ramping up the frequencies to 4x daily each with effect from October 27.
