Virgin Australia (VA, Brisbane International) CEO John Borghetti says his airline is in “no rush” to decide on its future fleet plans, which includes the Boeing 787 and Airbus A350. According to AustralianAviation, during a recent press conference called to announce the group's financial results, Mr Borghetti said that at some point during the next 12 months, an evaluation of what aircraft the airline will operate from 2017/18 on will be undertaken, but gave no specific timeframe. The airline's wide-body currently consists of five B777-300ERs at Virgin Australia International (VA, Brisbane International) and six A330-200s at Virgin Australia.
