Air Serbia (JU, Belgrade Nikola Tesla) has switched its planned 4x weekly flights from Belgrade Nikola Tesla to Istanbul from Istanbul Atatürk to Istanbul Sabiha Gökcen as of October 27, albeit on a temporary basis. EX-YU Aviation News writes that the move was necessitated after the Serbian carrier was unable to secure new landing slots at Istanbul’s main airport, Atatürk. Air Serbia will use B737-300s on the flights replacing a five times weekly ATR72 service by Jat Airways (Belgrade Nikola Tesla).
