easyJet (London Luton) is reportedly considering launching a London Stansted to Sion route in late 2014/early 2015 reports Swiss travel journal, Travel Inside. The news comes after an easyjet A320 was used to help calibrate the airfield's IGS radar system last month. Should the claim develop into a firm commitment, it would help secure the airport's future already threatened by the uncertainty of an annual CHF10million (USD11.05million) Swiss Air Force subsidy.
