Evergreen International Airlines (Marana) has operated its last scheduled flight with all aircraft now parked The Oregonian newspaper has reported. The freight specialist's last scheduled flight was a B747-400(F) from Tokyo Yokota to Fairfield Travis. On Monday, the aircraft was reportedly ferried to Victorville for storage. Some leased Evergreen cargo jets have also been repossessed by creditors, according to public records and former union officers. Famed for its close links to the US military, Evergreen could file for US Chapter 7 bankruptcy, or be forced to do so should three or more creditors file an involuntary bankruptcy. A Chapter 7 filing would involve the appointment of a Trustee tasked with examining and, if need be, liquidating the business on behalf of its creditors.
