Chongqing Airlines (OQ, Chongqing) has filed an application with the Southwest Bureau of Civil Aviation Administration of China (CAAC) to expand its operating permit to include both domestic Chinese (Hong Kong International, Taiwan and Macau International included) and international cargo and passenger operations. A China Southern Airlines (CZ, Guangzhou) subsidiary, Chongqing currently operates domestically using a fleet of four A319-100s and seven A320-200s.
