Jiu Yuan Airlines (Guangzhou) has been granted permission from the Civil Aviation Administration of China (CAAC) to establish an operational hub out of Guangzhou.
The Juneyao Airlines (Shanghai Hongqiao) subsidiary said it chose Guangzhou because "the Pearl River Delta region is at the forefront of China's reform and opening up, it is the most mature economic market with high level of economic development, high income levels, population flow and very broad market for LCC development."
