AeroLogic (3S, Leipzig/Halle) will begin 7x weekly flights from Leipzig/Halle to Hong Kong International and onwards to Cincinnati International in the United States with full 5th Freedom traffic rights to the US in 2015.
German aviation portal airliners.de says that with talks between the German and Hong Kong authorities having now been concluded, Cathay Pacific (CX, Hong Kong International) freight subsidiary, Cathay Pacific Cargo, is also set to enjoy 5th Freedom rights on the onbound sector of its Germany to the US flights. The Hong Kong-based carrier is cleared to operate to any US destination except Chicago O'Hare and Atlanta Hartsfield Jackson.
