SCAT Airlines (DV, Shymkent) has signed a lease contract with Russian state transport leasing company Gosudarstvennaya Transportnaya Lizingovaya Kompaniya (GTLK), for one B737-700 with delivery set for the end of May.
Established in 1997, SCAT (an acronym for Special Cargo Air Transport) is owned by Vladimir Denissov (53%) and Vladimir Sytnik (47%) and operates a fleet of three B737-300s, three B737-500s, four B757-200s, six CRJ200s as well as several An-24s on flights to all major cities in Kazakhstan as well as to Russia, Azerbaijan, Georgia, Armenia, Turkey and Thailand.
