Chalair Aviation (CE, Caen) has wet-leased an ATR72-200, S5-ACK (cn 369), from Slovenia's Aero4M (Ljubljana) Skyliner Aviation reports. The turboprop was positioned from Dinard/St. Malo to Limoges on July 4 following a repaint and replaces ATR42-300 F-GVZJ previously wet-leased from the Slovenian subsidiary of French aviation group Regourd Aviation (Paris Le Bourget).

Founded in 1986, Chalair also operates a fleet of Beech 1900Ds on flights connecting Ajaccio, Avignon Caumont, Bordeaux Mérignac, Brest Bretagne, Limoges, Lyon St. Exupéry, Paris Orly and Rennes. Chalair also operates some routes on a wet-lease basis on behalf of Air France (AF, Paris CDG) and its LCC subsidiary, HOP! (France) (A5, Paris CDG).

The ATR aircraft are mainly used for Chalair's Lyon-Limoges route as well as weekend services from Limoges via Avignon to Ajaccio.
