flybe. (2002) (Exeter) has announced it plans to establish bases at Bournemouth and Aberdeen Dyce during the course of 2015. In its financial results for the six months to 30 September 2014, the UK-based regional carrier said that starting in March 2015, it would base two DHC-8-400s at Bournemouth Airport to serve Glasgow International, Manchester, Amsterdam Schiphol, and Paris CDG.

Also in March, Flybe will re-establish an aircraft and crew base at Aberdeen Airport having successfully rebuilt its network and presence at the airport over the last 12 months.

"The plan will see four Q400 aircraft based in Aberdeen. Our objective is to build a strong and vibrant operation in the North East of Scotland that benefits both the local community and those seeking access to Aberdeen from other regions of the UK and Europe," it said.

The carrier will also commence limited operations, without basing aircraft or crew, at London Stansted in March with a focus on giving the regional leisure passenger cost effective access into London. Routes will include Newcastle International, Isle of Man, and a summer service to Newquay.

Capacity will be provided by the first batch of twenty-four Q400s the airline acquired on a sub-lease contract with Republic Airlines (Indianapolis International). Three turboprops are due for delivery through March next year with another seven due before March 2016. The remaining fourteen are scheduled to arrive on or before March 31, 2017.
