Yakutia Airlines (R3, Yakutsk) is set to lose three of its DHC-8-400s and two SSJ 100/95s after it allegedly failed to settle outstanding lease payments with Russia's VEB Leasing. The lessor said in a press release that it would repossess the aircraft after numerous late-payment demands went unheeded.

Yakutia uses its Q400 fleet on flights throughout Russia as well as to Istanbul Atatürk in Turkey and Simferopol in Ukraine. Its SuperJet operations, in addition to local flights, extend to Yangyang and Seoul Incheon, in South Korea, and Harbin and Beijing Capital in China.
